Make Reindeer Treats for Christmas Eve
Create a “Reindeer Grazing Grub” station where children can prepare a small Christmas Eve treat for Santa’s reindeer. Place a few simple edible ingredients in separate labeled bowls and give each child a small paper bag to decorate. Children can select several spoonfuls of their chosen ingredients and take the bag home. During Santa’s visit, Santa can add a little North Pole magic before the treats are set out on Christmas Eve. Use only edible, biodegradable ingredients. Avoid plastic glitter or other materials that should not be scattered outdoors, and supervise young children during the activity.
Receive a North Pole Postmark
The United States Postal Service offers an annual Greetings from the North Pole program that can add an official North Pole postmark to a child’s Santa letter. Visit the USPS instructions early in the holiday season to confirm the current mailing process and deadline.
