INSIDE YOUR HOME
Prepare Santa’s Seating Area
Create a safe and comfortable place where Santa can interact with your family and everyone can clearly see, hear, and photograph the experience.
☐ Santa has a safe and comfortable place to sit where everyone can see and hear him.
☐ There is enough space around Santa for children, family photographs, and gift distribution.
☐ Santa’s seating area and walking path are free of clutter, cords, decorations, and other tripping hazards.
☐ The room will be kept comfortably cool because Santa’s handmade suit, leather boots, belt, and other attire are very warm.
Nice List Reminder: Email names and one or two brief details about selected children or guests at least 72 hours before the visit. Use the appointment date and the last name of the person who signed the Appearance Agreement in the subject line. Santa may not be able to mention every guest individually.
Prepare for Photographs
☐ One person has been designated as the primary photographer.
☐ Other guests will allow the designated photographer to lead so everyone knows where to look and smile.
☐ Cameras and phones are charged, ready, and within easy reach before Santa arrives.
☐ Everyone will listen for Santa’s suggested poses and photography instructions.
☐ Group and family photographs will be organized efficiently so Santa has enough time to interact with everyone.
Young or Hesitant Children
☐ Young children will be given time and space to become comfortable with Santa.
☐ No child will be forced onto Santa’s lap or into a photograph.
☐ Santa may kneel nearby, speak gently, or suggest a family photograph to help a hesitant child feel safe.
☐ I understand that Santa will not lift or hold a frightened or inconsolable child.
